One of my recent nail art attempts using my favorite nail tool – the dotter. I love polka dots and this was a fun, neon take on them. Some of y’all may already be in to fall but here in New Orleans it’s still warm and sunny and feels nothing like fall. So I’m going to continue wearing my neons (who am I kidding, I wear neons all year round) and ignore those deep, dark autumn colors. The base of this mani was 4 layers of China Glaze Yellow Polka Dot Bikini (it’s very bright but super thin so you need a lot of layers or a layer of white under it) and the dots were done in Wet ‘n’ Wild Listening to Blue Reed with two layers of Seche Vite over the top of it all.
Sorry for the Instagram photos, I was having a really hard time getting a non-blurry picture of these. It’s hard to tell from these photos but the base color is pure highlighter yellow-green!
